The signal may be weak if the devices are too far from the router. A router set to operate at the 2.4 GHz frequency and placed in an optimal location should provide coverage within 150 feet indoors and up to 300 feet outdoors.
2. Power Cycle Your Router
Start troubleshooting your red light issue on your Asus router by checking that the router is powered on and plugged in.
